What it is for
The 2X is the lightest-hitting gun in the range: the most blows per minute and the shortest stroke. Yardstore rates it for aluminum rivets up to 5/32", so it covers the 3/32" and 1/8" rivets that make up most light-skin work but stops one size short of 3/16".
It takes standard 0.401" shank rivet sets, the same as the 3X and 4X. The rivet it drives is specified on the AN470 page; the length to order comes from the rivet length calculator.
Next size up: the ACAT 3X, rated to 3/16".
