Rules of use

AC 43.13-1B 3-2 places a peel ply over the resin of a wet repair to exclude air and work out bubbles; it is removed after cure. In a bonded repair, leave it on until just before bonding. The full bag stack is on the vacuum bagging page.

Limits — when NOT to use this

  • Check the cure temperature against the peel ply rating.
  • Coated types can contaminate a surface to be bonded.
