Notes from the standard
- Construction: seamless Buna-N inner tube reinforced by a braid of high tensile fiber cord; outer cover of synthetic rubber compound.
- Operating temperature -65°F to +165°F. Application: low pressure air or vacuum instrument systems, autopilots and lines to pressure gauges (specified in MS33620). Vacuum service 20 in Hg for sizes -2 to -6 and 10 in Hg for -8 and -10.
- Identification: black cover, yellow marking LP-MIL-H-5593-size, date of manufacture and manufacturer's code; Stratoflex 193-size on the other side; markings every 12 inches.
- Pressures in psi, sizes in dash numbers (sixteenths of an inch of hose I.D.), as listed.
