Notes from the maker
- Table 1 (to install standard BlindBolts): DIA -5 jaw set 744C75, nose piece 'S' 828B22 / 'U' 828B24; DIA -6 jaw set 744C76, nose piece 'S' 828B23 / 'U' 828B25.
- Extend active area by 1": purchase Adapter Kit 975-008 (2 components): thread component A (975-007 Extended Bolt) into Collet Bolt (828-045); replace sleeve 828-047 with component A (975-006); Loctite 242.
- Spent stems: remove broken stem by hand after each installation; if stuck, jaws do not open enough (check mounting).
- Clean insert, jaws and jaw cavity inside collet every 1,000 installations. Lubricate outside of jaws with Lubriplate. Loctite 242 (removable) on threaded components as shown. At assembly thread set screws tightly, then back off 1/4 turn.
