Notes from the maker
- Mounting: remove knurled cap from front of riveter; engage collet adapter D to riveter head piston (hand tighten); place sleeve adapter C over collet adapter and piston; slip knurled cap over sleeve adapter and hand tighten; sleeve A with jam nut engaged to sleeve adapter C and hand tightened with jam nut.
- NSN 5130-01-044-7198
- Clean nosepiece, jaw cavity and inspect jaws and spring every 1000 installations or on failure; replace spring and jaws if worn. Lubricate outside of jaws with Lubriplate or similar light grease. Align jaws with jaw follower on reassembly. Use Loctite 242 (removable) on all threaded components.
