Notes from the maker
- No installations if tooling worn or damaged (sleeve and pilot).
- Mounting: push collet bolt assembly forward; hold forward, engage 1 or 2 threads of drawbolt (19) onto riveter head piston before threading adapter fitting (20) into riveter head cylinder; turn clockwise until snug; rotate head to desired position and tighten jam nut (21); cycle tool.
- Clean sleeve, pilot, jaw set and collet every 1,000 installations or on failures; use wire brush to clean copper deposited inside jaw set. Lubricate outside of jaw set with Lubriplate or similar.
