Notes from the maker
- Remove bayonet mount (if present) and thread adapter 744-200 onto pulling head for G83/G84.
- Appropriate nose piece 'U' or 'S' type (see component table).
- Check jaws give enough clearance for BlindBolt serrated area; spent stems stuck means incorrect mounting.
- Clean insert, jaws and jaw cavity inside collet every 1,000 installations. Lubricate outside of jaws with Lubriplate or similar light grease. Loctite 242 (removable) on threaded components as shown. At assembly thread in set screws tightly, then back off 1/4 turn.
