Notes from the maker
- * Item 6 washer included with Item 7 (Snubber Assembly). ** For 'U' Type nosepiece use P/N 856-003 (856-002 is the standard/'S' type nosepiece as listed).
- Disassembly: 3/8 inch hex key removes drawbolt extension (11); remove guard (2); drift pin removes roll-pin (8); lift drawbolt out of frame. 1 inch wrench removes snubber assy (7), O-ring (5), then jaws.
- Mounting: thread drawbolt adapter clockwise onto riveter piston until frame adapter seats; drawbolt pushed fully forward touching frame; thread frame into riveter until stop; lock with jam nut.
- Lubricate regularly contact areas between drawbolt (3) and frame (9) with light oil. Keep head clean (adhesives, chips, sealants cause stem slip). Occasionally lubricate jaws (4) with Lubriplate. Apply Loctite 242 when assembling nosepiece (1) to frame (9) and drawbolt (3).
