Notes from the maker
- Remove broken stem by hand after each installation; if stems stick the jaws do not open enough (check mounting).
- Push drawbolt assembly forward before mounting; use jam-nut to lock pulling head.
- Appropriate nose piece 'U' or 'S' type - see component table.
- Inspect active area regularly; clean insert, jaws and jaw cavity inside collet every 1,000 installations; lubricate outside of jaws with Lubriplate or similar light grease; Loctite 242 (removable) on threaded components as shown; at assembly thread set-screws (item 16) tightly then back off 1/4 turn.
