Notes from the maker
- Mounting: attach riveter to air source; place spring into riveter piston; thread and tighten collet assembly onto riveter piston; thread in sleeve assy and lock with Jam Nut.
- Jaw adjustment: push fastener all the way through nose piece; to grab stem, unthread sleeve while moving fastener in/out until desired jaw hold; to release stem, thread sleeve in until released; lock with Jam Nut.
- Clean and inspect nosepiece, jaws, collet & spring every 1000 installations or whenever a failure occurs; replace spring and jaws if worn. Lubricate outside of jaws with Lubriplate or similar light grease. Loctite 242 (removable) on all threaded components except as shown (do not apply Loctite on the sleeve threads/area indicated in figure).
