Notes from the maker
- Remove bayonet adapter if present; thread adapter 744-200 onto pulling head for G83/G84.
- Push drawbolt assembly forward before mounting; thread pulling head onto riveter with internal and external threads connected; lock with jam nut.
- Clean insert, jaws and jaw cavity inside collet every 1,000 installations. Lubricate outside of jaws with Lubriplate or similar light grease. Loctite 242 (removable) on threaded components as shown. At assembly thread in set screws (item 16) tightly, then back off 1/4 turn.
