Notes from the maker
- Items 1, 5 & 6 are fastener type and size dependent (Table 1).
- Jaw follower 955-011 is necessary for smaller diameter fasteners to prevent stem shingling.
- Jaws adjustable to hold stem at all times or fully release it (sleeve threaded in/out, lock with jam nut).
- Clean and inspect nosepiece, jaws, collet & spring every 1000 installations or whenever a failure occurs; replace spring and jaws if worn. Lubricate outside of jaws with Lubriplate or similar light grease. Loctite 242 (removable) on all threaded components except as shown (do not apply on marked threads).
