Notes from the maker
- Not intended for installing -8 Steel MAXIBOLT fasteners.
- Remove broken stem by hand after each installation; if stuck, jaws do not open enough / head mounted incorrectly.
- Clean insert, jaws and jaw cavity inside collet every 1,000 installations. Lubricate outside of jaws with Lubriplate. Loctite 242 (removable) on threaded components. At assembly pay attention to orientation of pivot pins (items 11); Loctite and tighten set-screws (items 15) securely.
