Notes from the maker
- Push collet bolt assembly forward before mounting; engage 1 or 2 threads of drawbolt (18) onto riveter head piston before threading adapter fitting (19); tighten jam nut (20).
- No installations should be made if tooling is worn or damaged; replace sleeve/pilot if damaged.
- Clean sleeve, pilot, jaw set and collet every 1,000 installations or when failures occur; wire brush to remove copper deposited inside jaw set. Lubricate outside of jaw set with Lubriplate.
